A Wanderthief Anthology is on its way. In 2008, family and friends older and wiser than I encouraged me to keep a travel blog during my gap year. It’s possible they wanted to stoke the fire of my writing interest, it’s more likely they wanted to keep tabs on me and make sure I stayed alive while on the road alone at seventeen.
From that first blog more than a decade ago, the project has grown through many styles and systems to become Wanderthief; regular training for my writing muscles and a chance to relish in the weirdness of the world. That training seems to have worked, but before we part, I feel this friend of mine deserves a sendoff worthy of our decade together.
I know many of you have been reading from the beginning; whether you read one or you read them all, thank you for supporting this project. Your being here made Wanderthief what it was. The Wanderthief Anthology draws from the archive to tell a story of explorations into art and craft, creativity and work, writing, identity, and growing up.
And it’s coming soon. Get on the list here. Once you’ve entered your email address, you’ll be the first to know about the collection’s release date. In addition to snagging your own copy, which I hope you do, if you’re interested in supporting the project in any way or if you have hopes, expectations, or suggestions for how it should turn out, I’m all ears.
As always, thank you for reading.
