Role: Scriptwriter
Necessary Media Productions hired me to deliver video scripts for a Too Good Yogurt* fundraising campaign in support of nonprofit organizations City Harvest and We Don’t Waste. The campaign was timed with Hunger Action Month, and aimed to both raise awareness about and combat food insecurity.
My scripts introduced the #GetHangryForGood concept (developed by Too Good’s ad agency) and adhered to their voice and tone guidelines. Each video was designed to balance the seriousness of food insecurity in the U.S. with an inspiring, uplifting message. At the same time, the scripts needed to capture the candid, down-to-earth tone that our celebrity talent, Busy Philipps, is known for.

I wasn’t present on set, but Necessary Media’s Executive Director told me that Busy was thrilled to work with the scripts because they already sounded so “her” — a rarity when it comes to sponsored content.
*When we worked on this campaign, the brand was called Two Good. They’ve since rebranded.
